I am really pleased that I have found a way forward in my work to look at a particular issue and see how my work can be pushed forward.
I have struggled with the visual v materials library and found sectioning this out really confusing and haven't got a clue whether this is what the college wants. However I have felt that producing the samples and focusing in on colour schemes this has really helped with looking at my work.
In addition at the same time I have researched through different sources my subject matter and other textile artists way of working and relationship with thought provoking subject matter.
I have found whilst I have enjoyed the subject matter I have not enjoyed the structure of the assignment. The project on extremes was interesting and this has lead me to look at different ideas and go off on differing tangents some of which can be refined in the future.
By submitting my pieces now I have felt that I have come as far as I can without further guidance on this module and need to look at moving on, I am happy with a lot of the work and ready to go on to refine my ideas.
